  • Overview

    The Facilities Mechanic A’s responsibility is to complete scheduled work and preventative maintenance tasks with written and verbal instructions to maintain and or repair the plant facilities as well as building and production equipment.


    Essential Functions:

    • Run special projects designated by the Facilities Manager
    • Maintain, repair or install plumbing (Water, Nitrogen, Compressed Air etc.) and electrical services
    • Complete all of the required tasks to build, fabricate, repair and modify walls, partitions, work benches and cubicles in production and office areas
    • Complete preventative maintenance tasks for building and equipment related tasks
    • Assist Facilities Manager, Supervisor or Lead in all capacities of job functions


    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Advanced knowledge of commercial building repairs and the installation of plumbing, carpentry and electrical
    • Works equally well as a member of a team or individually on projects and tasks
    • Valid Driver’s License to operate company vehicles
    • Operate the necessary hand and power tools to complete any assigned task



    • High school diploma or equivalent is required
    • Vocational schooling is a plus
    • Minimum of five years related work experience
