  • Overview

    The primary functions of the Engineering Assembly Technician is to build, repair, and maintain DDC's test/support equipment. The objectives of the position are to support the new product development efforts of the Engineering team, as well as to support the manufacturing efforts of the Production team.The position is essential to DDC’s success, with respect to both the development of new products, and to the shipment of existing products, in support of its primary revenue stream.


    • Electrical and Mechanical troubleshooting and repair of all DDC test/support equipment, including cables, fixtures, adaptors, test sets, instrumentation, and commercial equipment
    • Electrical wiring of new cables, interfaces, adaptors, and test sets
    • Mechanical fabrication and assembly of new test fixtures, adaptors, PCBs, and test sets
    • Construction and assembly of new rack mounted, and/or bench-top Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
    • Maintenance and ownership of spare parts inventory


    • High School diploma required
    • Any combination of education, training and experience listed above that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
