    Looking for a Sr. Cost Accountant to join our DDC team. Will be responsible for providing meaningful cost information in support of daily operations, monthly inventory and standard cost development.


    Essential Functions:

    ·         Ensure implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed. Ensure that safe work practices are followed and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations

    ·         Commitment to the Company’s policies, principles, and procedures sand adheres the Company’s procedures including Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S), Equal Employment Opportunity (“EEO”), discipline/corrective action, and security

    ·         Review and maintain product standard costs for labor and material

    ·         Prepare, analyze and generate reports for the Company’s inventories

    ·         Produce cost of sales reports and analysis

    ·         Prepare and distribute product line profitability reports, Cost of Quality, R&D/NRE reports

    ·         Prepare and maintain adequate cycle count program in conjunction with Material Control and outside accountants

    ·         Month end inventory closing duties 


    Supervisory Responsibility:

    ·         Individual Contributor


    Work Environment:

    ·         This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines

    ·         While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds  


     Educational / Experience  Qualifications:

    ·         Bachelor's Degree Required (Accounting)

    ·         5-10 years relevant work experience preferred


    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    ·         Effective oral and written communication skills

    ·         Ability to research and analyze various different type of data information

    ·         Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines

    ·         Knowledge of generally accepted accounting procedures and principles
